Tea

Tea
9 April 2014

Discovered from an ancient tree
By the Oriental king and his philosopher in glee
They were traveling along the mountain
Looking for foreign lands to contain.

Sipping chamomile tea
Passes my throat in a plea
Gliding along my tummy so splendid
A sweet fluid so tepid

Calming my soul
Seeking my role
This diverse world
Full of wisdom from old

Peace to my mind
Yes I must be kind
Lest I am torn
By the life's storm

O, bitter-sweet tea
Pass my lips gently
My spirit pacify

Until my wings can fly
